  • What is The Rincon Rooms?

    The Rincon Rooms is a small, contactless boutique hotel located in Carpinteria. Designed for a quiet, independent stay, the property offers a self-guided experience with thoughtfully curated rooms and minimal interruption.

  • Is there a front desk?

    No. The Rincon Rooms is a fully contactless property, which means there is no traditional front desk or on-site concierge. Everything you need for your stay will be shared digitally prior to arrival.

  • How do I contact someone during my stay?

    If you need assistance, you can email us at Hello@RinconRooms.com. Emergency contact details and response instructions will be included in your pre-arrival email and in-room information.

Check-In & Check-Out

  • What time is check-in?

    Check-in begins at 3:00 PM.

  • What time is check-out?

    Check-out is at 11:00am. A late check-out at 12:00pm is available at a $50 fee.

  • How do I check in?

  • Can I check in early?

    Early check-in may be available based on occupancy and cleaning schedules. Please contact us in advance to request availability.

  • Can I check out late?

    Late check-out may be available upon request, for a $50 fee, depending on availability.

Access & Entry

  • How do I enter the property?

    Guests receive a unique access code before arrival. This code will unlock the property and your room during your stay.

  • Do I need to download an app?

    No app is required.

  • What if I forget my code or have trouble entering?

    Please contact us directly using the emergency contact information provided in your welcome email.

Rooms & Amenities

  • Is housekeeping included?

    We are an eco-friendly hotel. Should you like a daily refresh of your room, there is a $45 daily fee. If you would like full turnover service, including fresh sheets and linens, there is a $60 daily fee. Please add the appropriate housekeeping package when reserving your room.

  • Do rooms have Wi-Fi?

    Yes. Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.

  • Is there air conditioning?

    Yes. There is a/c in all rooms.

  • Are toiletries provided?

    Yes. Each room has an amenity program curated by Salt & Stone. It includes shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap and lotion. All amenities are available for purchase. Hair dryers are also available.

  • Is there a TV in the room?

    Yes. There are smart TVs in each room allowing you to log into your favorite streaming services. The TV automatically deletes all your personal logins upon check-out.

  • Are pets allowed?

    We are a dog-friendly hotel. Please ensure your family member is 35 pounds or less. There is a one time fee of $125 for your stay. Dog bed and bowls will be provided.

  • Is smoking allowed?

    No. The Rincon Rooms is a non-smoking property. Smoking is not permitted inside rooms or shared spaces.

  • Do you offer rollaway beds?

    Yes, we offer rollaway bed for a $150 one time fee. They are available on a first come first serve basis.

  • Does the hotel offer drinking water?

    Every room comes equipped with a kitchenette with mini-bar and filtered drinking water. We suggest bringing a water bottle to take with you, but we provide carafes and glasses while you’re in your room.

  • Is parking available?

    Indoor parking is available on the ground floor.

  • Is the hotel walkable?

    Yes. The Rincon Rooms is designed to be a relaxed home base within close reach of beaches, cafes, and downtown Carpinteria.

  • Is public transportation nearby?

    Local transit and rideshare services are available throughout the area.

Policies

  • What is your cancellation policy?

    Cancellation made within 24 hours of check-in will incur a 20% cancellation fee on the full amount of the reservation. Please email Reservations@RinconRooms.com to cancel your reservation.

  • Is there a minimum stay requirement?

    There is a two night minimum stay for all bookings Thursday - Sunday. Single night bookings are available Monday - Wednesday.

  • Do you require a security deposit?

    A temporary authorization or security hold may be required prior to check-in.

  • Can I host guests or events in my room?

    To preserve the quiet nature of the property, gatherings, parties, and unregistered guests are not permitted without prior approval.

  • Are children allowed?

    Yes, children are allowed. Rollaway beds are available during your stay for a one time fee of $150.
